What is special about the word "five" (not the number 5)?

It's not the only monosyllabic number, or the only number with 4 letters, or the only number with a 'v'. It's not a palindrome or an anagram. There doesn't appear to be anything special about the word "five". Unless you're referring to:

Drop the "f" and "e" and you have the roman numeral for 4. Half of 'five' is 4.

Actually, redsoxfan, my answer was that it's the only number word that has the Roman numeral for it inside itself: V for five in FIVE! (Of course it also has IV for Four in it also, if you wanna get technical!)
