I'm helping my sister and her husband on creating a website for his new job/business. I have only made websites at the free sites.
Anyone know of any reputable places they can get a domain from?
Thanks,
Amy

Try register.com. It is trustworthy.

I use registerclub.com - it's $20/year.

GoDaddy is great for buying domains as they are inexpensive and have a nice control panel.

However, they try to sell you all kinds of extra services you don't need. Don't buy hosting, e-mails services etc. from them. Just buy the domain and click on the "No Thanks" links while you checkout.

After you buy the domain you will need to purchase a hosting account for the web site. Go with Hostgator.com, I've used them to host over 100 sites over a 5 year period.
