Sammy Hagar "Standing Hampton" is one album/compact disc that I always tell people that they need for their collection. They are hooked once they listen and pass it on to others.

I like a lot of older rap and newer independent rap, but I know they aren't very well liked around here. So I'll just stick to one from that genre (although I could list probably 10-15 "perfect" albums).

That would be Nas - "Illmatic".

A couple others have mentioned are on my list:
Nirvana - "Nevermind"
GnR - "Appetite for Destruction"
3 Doors Down - "The Better Life"

I would also throw in the "Once" soundtrack and Static X - "Wisconsin Death Trip".

Two albums where I never skip any songs are

Villains-The Saw Doctors
Completely different styles of music but every track a winner.

The Beatles Abbey Road, and Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band, Live Bullet.

Had to really think hard about this lot .... Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks". Springsteen's "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and The Cars "Heartbeat City" are the few where I could listen to each and every track

there are soooooo many out there though where there's just that one track that sees me head for the skip button

Being perhaps controversial, can you name the one song that stops an otherwise great album being "perfect"?

I'll start the ball rolling with:

1/ Led Zeppelin's "Houses of the Holy" ruined by "The Crunge"

2/ At the risk of being accused of heresy, "Abbey Road" ruined by "Octopus's Garden"

3/ Pink Floyd's "Final Cut" ruined by "Not now John" (and it's not the swearing, I just dislike the song)

I just heard The Clash's "London Calling" album for the first time (years late still counts though similar to horseshoes?)

I was impressed with every offering.
