Normally, when you buy an album (or CD if you insist) there is always a track or two that you skip over, no matter how good the rest of it is. Does anyone have any albums that they think are "perfect"? I'm using this to mean that you enjoy all the tracks, no exceptions. In my wildly eclectic collection, I think there's just two, maybe three. I'll put forward 'Carry on up the charts' and 'Bat out of Hell'. Anybody got any "perfect" albums they'd like to share?

At some point in my life, I think I was asked this question (and kinda racked my brain on it - there seems to always be at least one stinky track, I decided at the time). But then I remembered one exception - at least as far as the albums I ever listened to, keeping in mind that there are likely millions I have never heard. But that one 'perfect'-ish one, in my opinion, was "Tapestry" by Carole King. Not a song on it that I didn't like ...

"Bridge over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkle, "Sergeant Pepper" by the Beatles, and "Guitar Town" by Steve Earle.

As for "London Calling" - I agree wholeheartedly for Record One, but for some reason never could get into Record Two. I think I only listened to it three or four times, while the other was worm out.

Chiming in once again to add Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here".

I should have added it to my list just over "Dark Side" and after listening to it again tonight in memory of Richard Wright I had to come back to give it highest honors.

I'll certainly give you 'Four' by Blues Traveller, Pagiedamon. I forgot it from my own list.

Have to add both "Hounds of Love" and "The Dreaming" by Kate Bush, as well as "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Abbey Road".
