Jane, what fun to have your card broadcast on TV - I remember sending in cards like that one year for my older two. Be sure to record them showing it (that way you can always bribe him with it in his later years )

I love those, Santana, and especially the sweet one of the boys. Awwww!

I made this card to meet a challenge on another of my favourite sites. Unfortunately the shiny ink doesn't show up well in the photo, but never mind. The challenge, by the way, was to create a white card, or a card with white embellishments following the sketch posted, hence the monochromatic look to it.



(And not a Sugar Nellie stamp in sight). Other photos of this card, and other bits and pieces I have made can be seen on my blog as usual.

This is my first attempt at a mola card. It looks a bit complicated but isn't really. You start with a piece of card then cut out sections, then stick a piece of paper behind it and cut pieces from that sheet then finally stick another piece of paper behind that.

Ooh, Sue, you did a great job. I've been wondering whether or not to attempt a mola, but it looks complicated and fiddly. I love your card!

It isn't as hard as it looks.

It's just about 24 hours since I last posted, so I'm going to go again. I've just branched out from my usual (staid) style of scrapbooking and followed a sketch from another site. I am quite pleased with the way it turned out, though to be honest I didn't vary from the sketch even the teensiest bit. I guess that helped Anyhow, this is a pic taken at Easter about 5 years ago, of my No 1 son climbing trees in a nearby park. His favourite colour is orange, so I got to use autumnal shades for a change.



A First for me - not a single stamp used on the layout at all! WOW!
