I'm in the wonderful happy place of rediscovering Savoy Brown. I've listened to the albums "Street Corner Talking", "Jack the Toad" and "Raw Sienna" with "Hellbound Train" in the wings. It brings a peaceful happy warmth easing my inner beasts (yes Virginia, I do have them and they are awfully loud at times!).
Edit: I've just ordered a copy Of "Looking IN" to increase my Savoy Brown experience.

104.5 here in Omaha starts the day after Thanksgiving. Here's a quick opinion poll. White Christmas or Feliz Navidad? White Christmas is a classic, but I think I like Feliz Navidad better. It's SO catchy!

No, I've been listening to it as well as my Christmas CD's, plus the Holly channel on SiriusXM. I changed off of 103.7 when they dropped the 80's music they had and went to primarily 2000-present music.

On YouTube I've listened to "The Waltz of Chocolate and Almonds", a little-known piano piece of Erik Satie. In the "Powell and Pressburger Pages" website, Satie's piece is supposed to have inspired Allen Gray's piano "Staircase Theme" from "A Matter of Life and Death" (aka "Stairway to Heaven", because of the giant moving staircase in the film, one of my all-time favorites, BTW).
