I have been on the funtrivia site for a couple of months, and one of my teammates suggested that I come onto this forum. I have recently been selected to be on the gameshow "Who wants to be a millionaire" and I am hoping that someone will have some general pointers for me to help me prepare. I mean....how do you study for trivia about anything and everything?? If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate to hear them. If not, could you please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I am going to New York to film the show on October 8th and it will be on TV the week of March 9th. Thanks all for your help!!

~Jesse

The very best of luck, jessejayoutlaw and well done! Tips? Pick up as many quiz books as you can find, have fun playing them with your friends. Hopefully, have an idea on what friends have strengths in areas you are weak on. Find a sports 'statto' nut. Read all the celebrity magazines for those early 'popular' questions. If you're "weak" in one area, see if you can find a (e.g.) Bluff your way in 'Shakespeare' book. If it's a 'popular kulcha' question, chances are the audience will know it. Play FT a lot (especially in categories that are not your strengths - you never know what will stick!) Get a good support network around you. Practise 'Fastest Finger First' watching the TV with a pen and paper - write down the answers in order. I'm not sure if you have quiz machines in US - play them if you do. HTH - and the very best of luck from across the Pond!
