I created a quiz that was going to be all about Skye in the Geography-Europe-United Kingdom category. *However*, I thought about some of the questions (e.g Distillery, groups, history etc,) and thought it might be better placed in General - UK Specific. Should I delete the original and start again? The patience and forbearance of our wonderful editors is greatly appreciated...

Their patience and forbearance are especially appreciated when I find the answer out for myself and depart, covered in confusion and apologies....

Just move it.

You do this by going to the pull down menu, and selecting ROOT CAT: General. Save, and then go back into the edit screen (don't back in, re-enter). Click on the menu, and now you will have a whole new batch of options. Keep going until you are in the right place.

Apologies if you already know all of this - it's a good public service announcement anyway, since lots of quiz authors don't.

you can change the category! Don't delete all your hard work. In the edit screen, where the category is listed, there's a drop down "thingy" and you can select the right category there. You might have to scroll a while to find it, the order is a bit confusing sometimes, but they are all there. Just click it to the one you want it in and resave your quiz.

Thank you both, and I'm glad I performed a public service rather than making a stupid mistake...
