Here are some of my boys from the class I teach once a week in Shun Zhen. It was pouring, but they are a cheerful group, even the Korean boy with his eyes shut. (Sorry about that but is hard enough to pin them down for even one photo.) It poured so much that I couldn't travel home, this is just a break while we dashed to the classroom.

How about a nice foggy morning in the country? I used to love walking to school on mornings like this. When it burns off later, the day is usually beautiful, with crystal clear blue skies. Photo taken in November of last year in Indiana.

Great rainbow, Copago. The colors are so bright.

This was from March 2006, just north of Los Padres National Forest. It was great to see some snow, as we don't usually get it in the lower elevations.

Nice rainbow....

No rainbows here, just rain, rain, rain. This is a puddle in front of my house.

Actually the puddle in this photo is across the street from my house, you can just see the edge of the puddle in front of my house at the bottom of the picture. If it keeps raining they will soon meet and form a lake.

This is what a blizzard looks like from the back seat of a car, crawling along the highway, hoping that the tire tracks your sister (the driver) is following don't lead us into a ditch because that is literally all she can see. You have to keep moving because there could be someone behind you following your tracks...

This was the winter before last, and we had taken our Mum for a birthday lunch to the next town. The sun was shining when we set out, but by the dessert course it was really coming down. Needless to say we made it home safely

oh wow! What sort of speeds can you go in that kind of snow, Liz? I should imagine it took forever to get where you were going!

The speed was literally a crawl, just fast enough not to stall or slide out of the car ahead's tracks. The drive usually takes maybe 12 to 15 minutes, but this was nearly an hour and seemed longer. It did clear a bit as we got closer to home.
