Here's another site that tells you the top song on the day you were born. At least this one didn't think my birthday was too far back for pop music, like the last one!
Mine was Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" which pleases me no end!

Mine was "Near You" by Francis Craig.

I was a bit bemused and not a little confused to see they go back as far as 1890. Queen Victoria surely wouldn't have been amused to know they had 'pop music'.

Crikey it was possibly Jim Reeves for me ! But I may be a bit too kind upon myself as I remember lining up for school dinner to Cliff Richard "We're All Going On A Summer Holiday " and Smokey Robinson "Tears of a Clown" at about 5 yrs

My song is "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own" by Connie Francis. Really, not that long ago.

Sherry, I will now have Sentimental Journey running through my head because I do remember it from my father. He was a huge fan of *Les Brown and His Band of Renown*.

Not trashy, just a "sorry, I don't love you" kind of ballad.

'Ballerina' by Vaughn Monroe

According to Wiki, "he was tall and handsome which helped him as a band leader and singer, as well as in Hollywood, although he did not pursue a movie and television career with vigor."

He was sometimes called 'the baritone with muscles'.

In that case, I expect my mum will remember him - I'll ask.
