Headgear for the Opera

The Lotus 7 was made between 1957 and 1972 when Caterham in Surrey took it over and produce it as the Caterham 7, this one being aluminium so not in need of paint. Besides the name the car is the same, much like the AC/Shelby Cobra of the same eras.

This is Barnet, my favourite Football Club which I wrote a quiz about to celebrate their promotion back to the football league, and also where Arsenal play their reserve fixtures.

These aren't my lights obviously. I have a Scrooge display in my yard. This is a house in the neighborhood. Every year they really light it up.

Missed "Turkey Day" yesterday but here are a few of the wild variety. I didn't even know they lived in the mountains until we spotted these coming down through the canyon. I had always thought they resided by the rivers in the flatlands for some reason.

I have many friends who go through the difficult task of bowhunting the wild turkeys in the southern part of our state. I understand, from what I have been told, it takes a lot of patience and quickness to get one. They may look awkward, but understand they can run like the dickens!

A dull, wet, and overcast day today, but my wife and I visited the small but historic town of Thaxted in Essex.
There are many interesting buildings in Thaxted, and this fully restored windmill is one of them. Originally built in 1804, it's known as John Webb's Windmill.

This is the little main shopping part of Claygate in Surrey from the station bridge. I wanted to take the horses opposite but it was already too dark at 3.30pm. If only the clocks didn't go back.

Row of houses looking majestic with church spires behind. The Travelodge i stayed atis apparently 3 of these house knocked into one, with lift access. I felt as though i was staying in a posh hotel as the room was double the size of the normal Travel lodge family rooms

Love the "flower bed." A plant nursery here used to have one out in front.
