I've only had a persimmon once in my life, but I remember it as being very bitter and chalky. I'm assuming it was not ready to eat if they're usually good tasting.

Great dog pictures, another one of my favorite subjects.

Neat pelicans, bhs. We were indeed very close to you this past weekend. I was going to call, but we had another couple with us. Next time, though, I will!
This is Angel Oak, another tourist attraction near Charleston, SC. I had some more picures without people in it, but I wanted to keep them in to show the size of this amazing tree. "The Tree" as locals call it, stands 65 feet tall, but has a canopy of over 17, 100 square feet, with a base circumference of 25 feet.
