Gary, Good one - those always make me laugh when I see them here!

I took this earlier this year when going for a walk in the woods. Luckily I saw no wolf!
According to the Norfolk Village Signs website (which will not let me link or copy) the sign erected by King George V in 1912 depicts the legend of the futility of trying to appease evil. The warrior God Tyr's hand was bitten off, despite an unbreakable chain being made by a magician.

I posted this earlier this year, but it's one of my favorites, so I'm putting it up again. Besides, it's the only sign post that I can think of that I have and some newer members may have not seen it.
This is posted smack dab in the middle of a cemetary in Biloxi, Mississippi.

This is on my street. The low hanging tree branch means trucks have to go around the block. The neighborhood would have a fit if the branches were to be trimmed back.

Great pictures, everyone!
This sign is at Raven Rock Park, in North Carolina. I must say it scared me when I read what it says there But the park is very nice and my boyfriend and I had a great time walking around it.

I often think our photos are extreme opposites, SatG!
I took my son to White Cliffs today for a school day so ihad lots of time to wander about. There are lots of open mine shafts dotted all about. This is just a mine field but there are two hills in the town that people do live in the actual dugouts.

What fascinating and amusing images Here's another from Oz, taken while I was hiking or should I say 'bushwalking' in the Stirling Range in Western Australia a few years ago. Aussies it seems, get straight to the point with their signs, but I knew where I was so ignored this one
Thanks ClaraSue. I considered doing a little photoshopping on this one so the sign read "Sunset Blvd" but wasn't sure if doctoring is allowed. So the sign says whatever anyone wants it to!
