The flag in the rear is called A Civil Ensign. According to Wiki 'A civil ensign (usage symbol ) is worn by merchant and pleasure vessels.' And what a pleasant looking pleasure vessel that is.

... as well, and i'm not sure if every country is the same; but the two pennants higher up from the stern would be the port of origin of the ship and the port visited (a courtesy).

The red, white, and blue flag up high is the Panamanian flag (port visited). The flag on the stern has some British connection (one of the Carribean Islands, maybe)

Bermuda has a defaced red ensign as its national flag, and several Caribbean countries have defaced blue ensigns. Maritime ensigns often differ from national flags, so it is probably a Caribbean country. These flags are the regimental colours of Col. John Hampden's Regiment which is a parliamentary regiment of the English Civil War Society, to which I belong. The plain flag is the regimental standard, and the defaced flag, with the crescent moons, is the C.O.'s personal flag.

Interesting Photos. This is a photo off the back of our cruise ship the Sun Princess. We had just passed under the Bridge of the Americas as we entered the Panama Canal. I believe Princess Ships are registered in Burmuda.

Great shot of the Bridge of the Americas. Been over and under it more times than I can count. That is my hometown!! If I can find it, I'll post a pic I took when they were putting the last beam in place.

That's lovely Argus - what is the haze/smoke/steam coming from the top of the bridge?

Some of my dearest friends are here at FT and I have had the luck to meet three of them in their own home countries. I get a flag when I go and here they are on my shelf, to remind me. One of them remains as yet unvisited, but I will make it one day.

Your regimental flags are beautiful, silky bhs. These flags are at the entrance to a park in the downtown of the city i live in. Has something to do with a "league of nations" thing there. I don't recognize many of them, there's the Canadian Maple Leaf flag of course, and beside it the Scottish Royal Lion Rampart. I think I see Italy, and Denmark. What do you see (besides the fact that it wasn't a very windy day, like it usually is ?)
The regimental flags image is mine I think. bhs's is the boat flags; not that I mind, just keeping the record straight Norway and Croatia are correctly identified by spanishliz. I also see the German (black, red, gold), Japan (red circle on white feld, Sweden (yellow cross on deep blue field), Finland (blue cross on white field), which is just behind the flag of either Australia or New Zealand. I've published an album of over 70 Flying Flags which should help to identify some you may see.

My apologies piquero, when its late i dont pay attention as i should ... sometimes names run together in my lazy mind and that's no excuse. You have identified a good deal of them along with spanish liz. You have good eyes with so little to go with. Thank you!

Lady 1 - Mile High is the football stadium home of the Denver Broncos. The above is Coors Field which hosts our baseball team, the Colorado Rockies.
We are very fortunate as both are beautiful venues for sportsfans.
