Mum asked me this the other day, what is a bunch of garlic called?
Is it just a bunch or does it have a special name?

The individual little bits that you use one or two at a time are called cloves. The big thing in TT's picture is a head or bulb, and the long bunches of many heads that you see in the deli window are strings or braids.
