As our TV expert said, the aims of terrorists are to make everyone terrified, by random attacks anywhere on earth, so they make as many people as possible scared to go out in case it happens where they are. There is no excuse for this whatever the apologists try and say. How many genuine causes in history have fought for their causes by attacking civilians at random? None. Only extremist groups and cults. The Baader-Meinhof, Eta, IRA, and Al Qaeda are all from the same mould and even if you could have sympathy for any of the actual aims nothing justfies killing innocent people.

Even insane or professional murderers usually kill their perceived enemies rather than just for the pleasure of it. You'll never get rid of it, we can only work round them and remember nearly everywhere in the world is free of them and not to let them put us off their everyday business, as they haven't in Israel for 60 years where it does happen every day.
