I really should treat myself.......

I have had this laptop for nearly seven years - it has never moved from this table. Most of these Tiny models 'died' within a couple of years due to fan malfunction. Mine overheated within 3 months, so removed bar on top to let more air in. Over the years, the integral keypad lost its keys and stopped working so I removed it which allowed even better ventilation as I bought a cheap keyboard and just stuck it on top with blutack!

I keep saying I will buy a new one because it has only 240 mb RAM and can be slow, but I'm sort of attached to it.....

This is it. Also where I watch most TV.

The computer itself is in the garage (the other side of the facing wall). I can't stand the fan noise computers make. I can't hear it at all from this side of the wall. Not so smart out there. The computer gets draped in old towels this time of year to keep the cold and damp out. The computer

Hello, this is what I sit and look at whilst I am scratching my head. Have to admit I cleared some of the clutter off the desk before I took the pic. The printer, scanner and tower are under the desk.

Lovely spots, even the dear old computer with the insides showing!

This is my spot - my projects are on the right and the kids' portion is on the left. Currently in the middle of Christmas cards and letters, online shopping and bill-paying, and researching schools and neighborhoods for our move this summer.

My computer area is in a corner of the dining room. None of these three computers are hooked up to the internet, can't afford to compromise the data; as i never seem to get around to regular backups. So for internet & fun trivia, i have a laptop in my bedroom. This is where i do my workflow -Shuffled a few papers around so you could see better, put a pretty flower photo up - but if i cleaned it up now, i would never find anything again.

The two that are on are Sony VAIOs the one not on is an IBM.
Canon printer and scanner, an LG tv monitor.

My little corner of the planet - even with a few Christmas *touches* thrown in . Yes ... too early for Christmas anythings, if I do say so myself. But I find that, thematically, I'm obsessed with unloading boxes (any boxes will do) at the moment ...

I kept forgetting to take this (really, forgetting to tidy up before taking this) so have ended up with a rather dark image because the light meter is reading from the screen... Ah, well, at least the dust doesn't show up so much
