Ok this is something I always ask people I speak to online. Where did you come up with your screen-name? Some simply use their name or a derivitive of it but alot use something else. I beleive your screen-name's origin can potentially say alot about you. My screen-name comes from my love of the Fall season in Colorado. That wonderfull time before winter when the crisp fall air carries the scent of burning fireplaces and home cooking. That time when the leaves on the ground rustle as you walk through them or as the wind sweeps past. Ah what a great time of year!!!

I, too, have borrowed my pet's name. Nenya is the name of my 12 year old collie/alsatian cross. The name originally comes from Tolkien - it is one of the three elven rings and is worn by Galadriel.

Mine is simply my name and the 007 is in honor of my husband's love of the old James Bond movies (the Connery and Moore ones). If I had ever thought for a moment (when I registered so I could have play quizzes), that I would have Made quizzes myself--or post in the forums, why of course I would have called myself something exciting. Maybe "CountessOfCool", or "LadyDracula"--who knows???

As the comment has remained and the post been deleted - My screen name comes from a double meaning and a pun
Fosse Four
originally from the Fosse (Roman Road which passed through Leicester) and the team of four people but also if you say it quickly is Phosphur - an element which burns very brightly but not for very long! Now there's just me so Fosse4. PS (due to a glitch in the system I became Quizcall - my e-mail name, so selected to be easy for my quiz league teams to remember)

This question was asked some time ago but, as many newcomers have arrived since, here it is again: l3i7l What does it mean? If you stare at the characters until they start to blend, you will see that it is just my real name, courtesy of laziness, and sloppy penmanship. The letters are typed in lower case, so it is supposed to appear as " ell-three-eye-seven-ell", as you would pronounce each character. When I write my name in script, if I do not get the first ell and the double loop touching, the 'B' looks like 'l3'. Then, after dotting the 'i' I have a tendency to drag my pen, so the first 'l' looks like a '7'. Add one more 'l' and there you have it. It's only Bill.

Well with my name being Daniel, Dan-the-Man just came naturally as i sometimes get called it. I use it on the other site i post on so it stems from there. This my second incarnation of this name on funtrivia after my original (without the dashes) was dealeted

Sparky2512: Chosen for two reasons. 1. I am an electrician 2. I am a supporter of Manchester United and my fav player from the past was Mark "Sparky" Hughes. As Sparky was already taken I added my birthday at the end.

mmm, let me see... nope, can't explain my name In the multiplayer area I might call myself HisWimmNess, when I'm feeling a bit divine. It's a name I used alomost 10 years ago when I started chatting with some people. The hint back then was that I might be related to Nessie, because I had the habit to appear online when no-one else was [ 02-09-2002: Message edited by: wimm ]

Boringly enough, mine comes from my job, which I love. I am a Modular Test Stand Technician. The 1 means nothing. Oh yeah, hehe, love that, Nen.

How about Bruce Ozzz? Copago is the name of our sheep station ... pronounced Co-pay-go ... it's an aboriginal word with something to do with water.

ooooh nenya, i love to dance. my name is a mixture of my husband's first name and my own - it gives me a sense of anonymity as my husband's name is the first part of my id - Al. people often call me 'ally' because of my screen name, but my name is 'Neela'. my friends call me 'Nellie' so i became 'allynellie'. i love the anonymity it gives me (well used to give me!) - i am usually such a blabbermouth on the earth plain (as opposed to the cyber one), that it was refreshing to be anonymous - an exercise in humility one might say but it didn't last long, once a blabbermouth, always a ..!

Oh, y'all are so clever! I love the explanations here! And, l3i7l, this is just way too cute! When I looked at it and let it all run together, I said, "It's BILL!", so it really does work! Even before I saw your "answer", I could see it.

Corinne is my first name, Rose is my middle. I usually go by "SpaceCowgirl" but I suppose that's becoming more and more popular (why? I thought I was being very original in making it up... after Steve Miller "Some people call me the space cowboy") My second choice for screen names is "Corinne", again... there must be more and more of us out there... so I have to settle for Corinnerose (which seems a bit frou-frou). Ciao Corinne(rose)

Well, my name is Dimitra (it is greek...) and I love mythology. I guess that most of you have heard of Demeter, the goddess of agriculture... Ceres is the same goddess in roman mythology. And that's why I use that mane...
