Helo,
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Mike, I am from Waterville, Maine. I am 47 years old, single, self employed. I have been a member of funtrivia for about a year. I don't usually do very well but somehow I am in the top 1 percent of my class and finished on top of the regional daily trivia a few times too.
I am still trying to figure out how some players get so many points in a given day!

Hi Mike and welcome from the other side of the pond! It's quite simple, you give up food, sleep and life!

Welcome Mike.

Glad you're doing so well but don't give up food, sleep and life as Quiz_Beagle said some players do. Haha No, you do that for the Chain games (under Fun and Games). Come check it out but I warn you, it's just as additive!

Thank you very much for the welcome quiz beagle. I'm trying to figure out which is the best combination of quizzes or games that will get me the massive amount of points I see others getting. I really like doing crossword puzzles but haven't quite gotten the hang of doing them online. I need to practice alot. Hmmm... maybe I can get speech recognition to work on the puzzles. I will get to work on that right away! ;0)

Hi Mike, and welcome! Since I see that you are a Gold Member it shouldn't prove impossible to rack up the points. All you have to do is wake up early, go to bed late, and play a half a zillion quizzes in all the time in between. Good luck!

Hello Mike, and welcome to the forums. I echo Joy's invitation, why not drop into the Chain games between quizzes (we don't mind if you eat while playing )

Wherever you spend your time here, I'm sure you will have fun!

Hi Mike. Welcome from South Africa.
One of the quickest ways to get quick points is to play quiz topics that you know so that you can get 100 points for every quiz you do. Also if you play a difficult quiz, you get extra points for difficulty and play your regional and monster quiz every day, you get 100 bonus points for that. You also get points every time you go up a level in the global challenge. There are lots of ways to get points. You just have to look around and you'll find them. Good luck and have fun.

Mike - I haven't got Endurance in my badges, but I came second once There are all the quizzes to play every hour, and in the intervening '15' minutes you *can* play Instaquizzes (which, sorry, would bore me to tears). Or, you can look for subjects that interest you - for example - "Harry Potter" or "M*A*S*H*" or "Brain Teasers" and work your way though the lot (rejoicing as you find 25 question quizzes!). Or find an author you enjoy and complete all their quizzes - or follow the 'other quizzes you may enjoy' recommendations. Or, you could play *every single* new quiz as they come up. Scoops up the points, but makes your average rubbish (unless you Google evry answer, which is allowed, but will take time). All are perfectly valid strategies for getting loadsapoints. See what you would like to do, but, please, above all -have Fun!
