Wow, you get a postie delivering to you? I assumed that you went in and collected your mail from the post office in town.

We pick ours up in town but the postie does deliver - I'm not sure why we don't get deliveries, it was set up that way before I got here so it's stuck that way. For us it's more of a marker so people know where to turn off to get to our place and for people to drop stuff off if they're passing. Oh a the lizard a couple days ago - a couple asked how big he was, with the tail wihich is probably half of him he was about 2 foot long. Called a sand goanna and he was about as big as they get.

Great pics, love the lion, picqero. Good job of recycling with the stove door, Copago. PDAZ, that starling in the cactus is so neat! I have to say, even though they're all beautiful, I am liking the warm weather pics a lot more than the cold ones right now.

Methinks it is a Citroen - circa Maigret>? Probably an old bread van.

See, I like the snowy winter pics. Perfect sunny weather gets old after a while...

Lovely pic, RMG! This is white lantana, but for some reason, we always end up with a couple of purple blossoms.

I've been thinking of an idea lately, sort of like a treasure hunt. Someone posts a photo request and who ever can post that request then gets to request the next shot. ANd they'd be things that would have to be taken there and then, no going through your archives. So a newspaper with todays date, or a book open at page 395, a soft drink can upside down, picture of the computer at a specific website .. that sort of thing. Would it work? ANyway, here's my offering for today - yesterdays' eggs ready to be collected.

There was one of those old Citroen vans over the road from me till recently and knowing them it was probably made well into the 60s as they kept their models for decades, something firms could learn from today. Here is Finchley from the 4th floor The tower on left used to be Christ's College school, the office block in the middle is the local tax department and the white shop on the corner is the Queens Head pub I've never been in as it wasn't one of the one's you'd want to.

Love the bison argus, and Cameron Lakes is gorgeous. The mules are so sweet faced , great shot. Wow, the water is wild !! awesome. Beautiful flowers, and penguin. SM, your butterfly is known by many different names from what I can see on a search: White Tree Nymph, Paper Kite, Rice Paper Butterfly, Idea Leuconoe to name a few. I've known it as White Tree Nymph. Thanks for all the wonderful photos this month, it's been fantastic to see them all.

Yes, indeed. It is wonderful to see new images everyday. And from so many places! Here is a horse grazing in the mountain aspens.
