Ooh, I am so glad you checked in; I've been thinking of you every day! I'm sure it's not fun and I'm sorry you have a way to go, but hang in there, we're all rooting for you! You still have my prayers and best wishes.

High of my week (and day) was going to see The Phantom of the Opera. It was just amazing - we had front row seats right below the chandelier, and everything was so clear.
The actors were amazing, and Anthony Warlow makes an excellent phantom. His voice is sublime, and he can act. Oh boy can he act. I was in tears at the end of it.

Low is having to work almost 25 hours this week. It means I only have one night to do my homework and I just can't do it. I did the same last week and I've now got an essay due tomorrow that I've only just started.

High of the week is my first full day home from the hospital after a 9 day stay resulting from a ruptured appendix the day before Mother's Day. Hope to be checking out what I've missed as I can tolerate sitting at the keyboard.

We are fortunate you are still among us, Cinnamon. Please take good care of yourself and try to relax [if that's allowed at your house. Around here it's debatable ]
Welcome back.

I am sorry to hear of your illness, what a way to spend Mother's Day! I hope you'll be back on your feet soon, but don't rush yourself. Let everyone else take care of you, you do it every day for them!

Cinnam0n, hope you get to feeling better soon. However, with a little luck, one can stretch out not having to do housework, laundry, etc. for quite a little while. I had acute appendicitis (not ruptured, luckily) and managed to not make dinner for 6 weeks! After all, remember you are not supposed to lift anything heavy. Like pots, irons, dirty clothes, vacuums, etc.

Moving the mouse around is probably excellent therapy!

Welcome back.

Lowish, Mada (denni19) is on the 'plane as I type this. We had to get up at 4.30am today then went to the airport where I stayed with her until she had to go through Security.

British Airways didn't charge her for her excess baggage (so good news), she was only 0.9 of a kilo overweight with her main bag, mind you I gave her an old sports holdall which was filled too.
