Welcome to the February photo thread. The January thread will be left open for a while to allow for World time zones. It will close it once it is February 1st for everyone. Post in either thread (but not both) until then. If anyone needs information on how to post photos, it can be found in the ' Photo posting guide' located at the top of the forum.

I can't recall for sure, but did we have a thread for "Friends and Family"? I have a photo I'd like to post but I don't want to put it in the wrong thread. Thanks, Tracey

-Neat tractor, rmg. -lady, That is just gorgeous, takes my breath away! -PDAZ and ClaraSue, How funny is that? Looks like a great course, both the golf and the running. I don't know that I've heard of the tunnel concept before, but it's a great idea. -picqero, That is one strange looking bird. We aren't allowed to post any more pics of people. Here is the final thread about it and link, Tracey: people photos

I did read that, and the photo I have doesn't have a single recognizable face in it at all, it's just a photo I thought might be nice to share that I was sent from Iraq. Therefore, it's a photo I didn't take personally, but thought others might like to see it.
What's the rule about that?

People shouldn't be the subjects of photos. When this isn't possible because buildings/places are never free of people, they should be kept in the background as much as possible (no discernible features). Photos shown or linked to should be taken by ourselves.

From snow to sun. Two cruise ships at anchor in the Caribbean. The one in the front is the Sea Cloud and behind it is the Sea Cloud II

oh man! Look at that snow! A brand new fence we've put up over the last few days. Really hot at the moment so only work outdoors in the morning which is why it's taken so long - it's only short so probably should ahve had it done in a day .

At this time of year every business has its little shrine cleaned up , painted and decorated. This one is by the road at the bus depot.

Some lovely photographs in the thread so far, especially your sunset lady1. The snow scenes are beautiful too, but it's so nice to see some sunshine. The sun did come out here today, whilst it was snowing. It is beginning to look dull and grey again as nighttime approaches. Snowdrops in the snow, lit by the sun.
