It's a little chilly in the evenings in South Carolina where we've been lately. Sitting around a nice campfire with some beer and friends makes for a fun time.

Every now and then a stationmaster decides to show what a station should look like. As well as the appearance it had working toilets and a cafe, as well as an open ticket office. These are becoming very rare although I have little need to use the trains myself I still visit the stations all the time as I like them.

I know quite a few guys, who'd drool over that bulldozer, and love to have it as a restoration project. Probably cost the earth to collect it though, I guess!

What's the best thing to do stuck at a level crossing? Get out and photograph the scenery. This is Barnes Common which is about a mile wide and crossed by many roads.

This sort of seems like a theme going with the houses in winter. I imagine this run-down shack is almost invisible amongst the leaves when summer is here.

Another aerial view. I believe this is either southeastern Utah or western Colorado. The US doesn't seem so crowded when you look at landscape like this.
I would have liked to have gotten all of the bottom cloud but the pilot wouldn't turn around so I could take another pic.

You've all seen this sign before but this evening I was experimenting with silhouettes. Ideally I wanted to get the sun shining through the last O but this will do.

Nancy, Copago is the name of our property so that is why the sign is even there. It's at our main gate. I know it's been posted at least once, maybe twice before
