As most of our trees are bare right now, here is my little Pine tree covered in snow.

Here are some Scots pines (and shadows on the bank of the moat) surrounding Castle Acre.

From great big trees, to a wee little one. Here's a photo of my bonsai looking a little 'bald'. I've had it for over six years and pruned it for the first time a few weeks ago. It needs to be repotted, and probably needs some other attention as the leaves, which used to be tiny, have suddenly started growing enormous!

There IS a way to make theleaves smaller I read it somewhere. But make sure you ask an expert. (not me obviously) It would be a shame to do something wrong when it looks so lovely.

To answer your specific question, you can post only one photo per week in the weekly theme thread, and one photo per day in the 'photo-a-day' and the 'image art' threads. You should also familiarise yourself with the photo posting guidelines set out here and the people image posting guidelines here
Old photos can be posted, provided they were taken by yourself, but the main idea, especially in photo-a-day is - I think - to show fairly recent images of sights you've seen.

The leaning tree of Burn valley gardens, I thought strange shape for a tree.

Drove around for half an hour yesterday trying to find a certian tree that had been hit by lightening ages ago and looks pretty cool. COuldn't find it so ended up with this.
