My daughter in law went in to labour 7 hours ago. There is a possibility she may need to have a C section. She's not very big, but my son is well over 6 foot. As soon as they send me a photo I'll post a link to it.

Right now I'm on my own, apart from the dogs that is. Jill's at work. I've got two of the bottles in the fridge. The third one is half gone and in danger of being finished very shortly.

It's been around 10 hours since Bob first posted and 17 hours since she went into labour. I vote some strong black coffee for Bob and strong drugs for Emi.

I believe I will second that post of your's, Sally! I was hoping to see some kind of update when I got back on and I hope my scenario of the dogs and the phone has not come to pass.

Latest update from Japan is that Emi is still in labour and the doctors are talking of inducing. I'm checking my emails every half hour or so, Stuart has got a work laptop with him at the hospital.
