Aww I missed saying goodbye. Sue I hope you are ready that end with a big WELCOME. I hope you both have a wonderfull time.

She will be on her way to the airport, unless she is already their.

She has my mobile (cell) phone number loaded and we tested it yesterday when we were talking on the landlines.

Ooooer!! Exciting innit?

She will phone me from Gatwick departure hall once she has cleared security, then I know she is at least in the UK!

Just checked Flight Arrivals for her flight...

Thank goodness for that, it gives her more time for her transfer to Gatwick. It is very stressful these days for occasional travellers, and even seasoned travellers, to have to leave the airport then travel by coach, which you need to book yourself, to travel to the other airport. She probably will have checked straight through from Bucharest to Jersey but she will still have to collect her baggage and take it herself between airports.

I hope she knows that! Or I hope you have something she can wear if she doesn't

Her flight landed at Heathrow at 14.10. I have just arrived home from a lunch meeting so am relieved that the plane was early rather than late.

I have received a call from her, she is in the departure lounge at Gatwick so she managed the wretched coach transfer ok. Less than two hours to when she lands here.
