That's superb macro photography Jakeroo, and great lighting capture of Times Square - excellent shots both

We see this stretched limo occasionally, but I was fortunate to be stopped at a railway level crossing, with my camera handy, when it was parked opposite!

Satguru, you always post such lovely houses!

Here's a local one that I like. It's on the edge of the mountain preserve where I hike and run. I was bitter when I first saw it being built -- how dare they build on MY preserve! But then I thought -- ooh! I'd love to live there! I guess it just depends on your point of view

Liz that looks like a tulip but what an interesting colour.

I have always called those "black" tulips, though the colour is more of a deep purple.

This long-legged fellow was wading in the river when I walked by today, and let me take several photos.

Tintern Abbey in South Walea. Founded in 1131. Sometimes people come to the Abbey to watch the full moon rise between the windows

Framed between large trees under a brooding sky, Forty Hall in nearby Enfield dates from the early 17th century.
Now a museum, it was originally the home of a former Lord Mayor of London.

Thanks pdaz, as I can't live in any of the houses I like I have their photos to look at instead. Yours looks like a castle or a bunker but the result was still good.

This is one of our best villages, Letchmore Heath in Hertfordshire, and where George Harrison bought a Hare Krishna temple. It's behind the hedge on the left and the residents forced them to use the rear entrance about a mile away as they said it ruined the village. Only in England...

Today our Mayor kissed a pig. He raised money, lost weight, and carried a message on preventing diabetes. This is the adorable animal he kissed!!

I just got back to Toronto this morning after spending two weeks in Sydney.

Here's a shot of Bondi Beach.

A bit more of quaint Britain, a private road alongside Hampstead Heath.

Tulips on a rainy evening. These were yellow when they first bloomed, and have gradually changed to the colour you see here.

Beautiful SLiz. Those tulips almost look sugar coated.

Just for fun...

Having featured in several movies and even on the cover of a Pink Floyd album, Battersea power station is one of London's iconic landmarks.

Highgate ponds in Hampstead Heath. Actually half of Hampstead Heath is in Highgate but that would just confuse people if they changed it...

I know that this will probably belong in the music forum, but I just had to post it here because I was reminded of this video when there were so many posts last week about the airshows. I was afraid if I posted it in the music section, those that posted the airshow photos might not see it. For those that haven't seen an airshow, this is a good video. If you don't care for the music, you might want to turn down your speakers (but not off!); the lyrics are really nice and match the video.

Came home from an evening hike and found this little guy hanging on my door. He's a mediterranean house gecko -- they live in the roof of my house and come out at night to eat the mosquitoes and spiders -- awesome little dudes!

Sharon (zorba), your plant is a Monstera deliciosa. Common names are Swiss Cheese plant, due to the holes in the leaves, or Fruit Salad Plant, reflecting the flavour of the fruit.
Personally I have no liking for the fruit, not even for jam, but I'm sure some of the Forumites might enjoy it.
