You're right Sara, it was/is busy at work especially as it is the end of the month and, as usual, the bosses remember about things to be done which have been overlooked for the entire month. It's been a bit hell-
ish for me after such a wonderful holiday with lots and lots of relaxation and rest and fun and being a spoiled princess.
I guess I'm suffering from
post-Jersey depression - I don't feel like doing anything but daydream, live in my memories and play with my new crafting toys and books and supplies.
In my absence, my brother only added to the mess I left at home, so the first 2-3 days after coming back I had to "settle" into housework and shopping - our fridge was almost
au-naturel

The old bat is the kindest, sweetest, most generous and the most young looking person I've ever met in my 47 years of life. She is so very thoughful and always paying attention to everything about her guests so she can provide them with the best and with what they like.
There were yummy chocolates, shortbread, sugared almonds and a big bouquet of carnations welcoming me into my bedroom. Then there was a huge jar of decaf instant coffee and many many biscuits and treats and stuff.
And there were also many many fantastic birthday gifts from you all, the most wonderful friends one can ever get. I am truly blessed and I am aware I don't really deserve it.
Jersey is such a great place and so different from where I live. There is green and blue everywhere - lots of vegetation and blue skies and, of course, the ocean which is blue and green at the same time.
In Bucharest everything is mostly grey - too much concrete and polluted air which makes the sky look grey too.
The pace of life is different - people are never in a big hurry, you don't hear angry car horns every 20 seconds, the drivers don't rush and they are always so polite with one another.
Everyday we would see rabbits or geese or horses. No stray dogs or cats - Bucharest is filled with them poor souls.
Public toilets are everywhere!

And they are clean and intact.
We've visited a lot of gorgeous places - The Orchid Foundation, The Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust (Zoo), The Jersey Museum with the Marilyn Monroe Memorabilia Exhibition, Hamptonne - the museum of country life, Jersey War Tunnels - an extraordinary experience, walking through underground tunnels where once in a while they drop a bomb on you (courtesy of the inside sound system

Sue was my chauffeur every day, helping me see all parts of Jersey. I LOVE it! If I ever become a movie star or any sort of big celebrity with huge amounts of money, I'll never buy a house in LA, Monaco, St. Tropez or any famous location. I would buy a house in Jersey, overlooking the ocean.
So, to summarize, each and every minute of my holiday was an adventure for me, seeing new places, watching nice shows on TV, having a chauffeur, eating lamb whenever I pleased, being 10 minutes away from the beach, etc. Oh, and I should not forget being hugged by a gorgeous policeman

St Malo was great mostly because we met with Santana2002

. We chatted so much that we didn't see too much of the town so I only have a few photos from there. Will post one in the Photos Forum

.
I've managed to upload most of my photos in a
Photobucket Album so if you want to, you can have a look

. [
a lot of photos were taken while in the car]
