Definitely staying out of that discussion ! Dotty is a cutie.
My sister and I went to visit our Mum today, and as it was a lovely sunny day we took her for a walk by the bay. As we were sitting in a small gazebo-like shelter near the water, a robin landed in a tree behind us and started telling us off in no uncertain terms! We understood why when we spotted not only its nest by the roof of the shelter, but two little mouths opening and closing in anticipation of their dinner!

It's years since I saw the river Dart, I used to go at least every summer but hardly anyone I know goes any more so have to keep the memories.
Despite the heat I'll get my anorak on for this one. I've got the same signs already but not on the same pole. These designs were officially replaced in 1963 so very rare to have any around at all.

Sadly Totnes has changed incredibly even in the last 5 years, Sat. Very touristy and few remaining hippie quirky shops - loads and loads of people everywhere... and parking a nightmare. It was, however, nice to not see any empty/closed down shops though.

Rainy Day Roses
We're in the rainy season now, and had torrential rains this afternoon. I ventured down the garden path, umbrella in one hand, camera in the other... These are dogwoods, and smell heavenly.
