I would love to join that fellow for a chat! Love the galahs, Copago, and the moon is fantastic. As a child, I believed that if the cows were lying down in the field, it was sure to rain. Well, this little lot, snapped in passing from my sister's car, got it wrong today. Though there were threatening black clouds all around not long after, the rain never came.

There has been a run of very colorful photos! From glass to galahs. Those are gorgeous birds. Copago after studying my field guide determined the bird of prey I posted is a Swainson's Hawk in Intermediate Morph. Whatever that means.. (-8 Here's a critter I didn't know we had in Colorado. Actually from a Sanctuary where wildlife humans tried to keep as pets are homed. They have everything from lions, camels, ostriches, black bear, grizzly bears to wolves. What are some people thinking?? I don't know why they don't get the concept if you have a lion in your garage, it isn't a lion anymore. (Yes, this place rescued a starving lion from someone's garage who was being fed Whiskas cat food.) Good grief.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful animal, Tredici. Visiting Williamsburg, VA, happened upon a busy bee.

Oh Tredici that lion looks sad. Djsgal, that buck is beautiful. Copago, I love the flowers and the vase.

Copago, there's nothing like a handmade gift, especially from a child, is there? Lovely! Tredici, your shot of the tiger is fabulous! djsgal, I camped at that same park and had deer come really really close. We had only the picnic table between the kids and me and four of them. It was then I started wondering exactly how benign wild deer were... (maternal instinct kicking in I guess...)

Thanks Liz. It's funny how photos get posted in little bunches, it's already tomorrow evening compared to the last entry but only one picture in between. Rather than add anything scenic this is a typical view of my life, a bus passing under the bridge in Cricklewood, my mother and her brother were born just off the road on the right just behind me as well. Sometimes the fruit never strays far from the tree.

Love the cute little toad! My daughter picked me some flowers while we were out camping.

Cute flowers, djsal... Great golf course, copago! and that frog is very cute! Here's my offering for today: I really like this selection of roofs, particularly the slightly sagging roof of the crêperie in Quimper from which delicious smells were wafting!

Quimper is a beautiful town - we visited on market day and there were so many lace goods being sold, with many of the stall holders wearing traditional costume. Here is a very large sunflower in an allotment. There were runner beans, raspberry shrubs and wild flowers too.
