Here is an alligator up close and personal - taken at the Baltimore Aquarium.

He looks nice and friendly ... not that I'd be keen on getting up close and personal with him!

Here's a pic of a ceramics shop in Quimper - a selection the plates they produce have been fixed in place permanently on the outisde walls of the building.

Interesting 3-dimensional wall mural, seen in Swanage a few days ago.

They put the mural there in 1997 as a temporary thing to hide the derelict building until it was knocked down... now it looks as though they like the mural, and have kept the building, lol. I've always liked Swanage, I spent many happy hours there as a child - it's a town with a great sense of humour and has several murals by the same artists.

Two underground and one overground line pass under the road at Willesden Green tube station. I heard it's up for development so not sure how long this scene I've known all my life will last.

I watched these birds and some of their friends for some time this afternoon. At least one of them seemed to have its tail feathers in the air at any given time, but I seldom saw them come up with any goodies.

London is so big there are still plenty of parks nearby I've never been to before, this is Queens Park in Kilburn

These hydrangeas started out as white. As they faded on the bush, they turned greens and pinks.

I have a bunch just like that outside my window here.

Spotted this beauty parked in a lot near the river today. "Drove my Chevy to the levee..."

Back again- this is Lauderdale House in Highgate which had a photographic exhibition on, and someone I know from Flickr won the first prize and won an exhibition of her own. I'll be entering the next one if they let me.
