Carmel looks like a lovely place to be PDAZ, and shows how easy it is to plan and design any new town if the will is there.
In contrast here's the sort of view few others would take or show but is an everyday view for many Londoners so part of our lives as well. It's a new block of offices (on the right) on the Park Royal industrial estate in the typical current Lego style.

I was only watching a documentary the other day about glass and how those circles, in the olden days, were just a happy accident when the flat panes of glass were made. The circle was from the stem that was holding the glass the flat pane was cut from.
Who knew that infomation would come in handy so quick?

Carmel really looks like a beautiful place, it reminds me of a Bavarian village. Copago I suppose you are expecting a very wet season, in order to fill that massive tank up.

Here's one of the best art deco houses I've ever come across today in Bushey

I like the art deco house, sat. Lily, like your cabbages or kale too. I used to always plant ornamental kale when I was in Canada. It looked just so cool peeking out above the snow, and would last until the start of the thaw. A lovely splash of colour!

This is the foggy view from the Pacific's Edge restaurant in the Carmel Highlands. It's actually up on a cliff -- it's hard to tell that since I used the zoom. Really lovely restaurant if you're in the area (and the absolute best Manhattan I've ever had)

Now, PDAZ, you know I'm going to fiddle with that image! It's lovely, I shall have to get Photoshop out later.

These are sea nettles at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's actually my favorite exhibit there -- I could sit for hours and just watch them float.
