As always, terrific snapshots, folks ! My contribution isn't terribly panoramic and/or original today, but it's kinda relevant . Without a bit o' warning (or good sense slash planning) I ended up with a *roommate* this week! He was a rescue that, after a stop or three, found his way to my door. He's so happy to have a place to 'take over', too - a very grateful lad, I'm thinking. He spent the morning selecting which bed he likes best [I think he found it, too] and rearranging the lounge chair to his liking. Typical cat. His name is Middlemarch (and, yes, I know that's a very odd name ... but there's a mostly sensible reason for it, I promise). It's no wonder the cats in my life have been so especially neurotic -- considering the monikers I saddle them with ...

He is great . Why do you need a sensible reason for naming him Middlemarch? That it's a great name is fine!

Lovely cat Gats, I must ask my neighbours if any of them are going away so I can have another visitor for a while. This is exactly why Hampstead Garden Suburb was given its name, this is just round the corner from where I lived there.

Congratulations on Middlemarch adopting you, Gats! He looks right at home. Szabs, that water looks so unbelievably green! Is there copper in the bed? Professer, I like the shot of the Houses of Parliament. Spanishliz, what can I say about the toilet? lol. Copago, the galahs are gorgeous, what a beautiful flash of colour. Satguru, always nice to see an English garden. All in all, another interesting round of photos, thanks everyone. I will get back to posting soon. I've been under the weather, and should be back on my feet soon, hopefully.
