I really liked "The Reader" and "Gran Torino" too. I hardly go to the cinema these days, and seem to catch everything on DVD, but one of the few films I saw on the big screen this year was "The Brothers Bloom", which I thought was excellent.

I'd say my favorite so far has been Gran Torino. It's an excellent movie.

I haven't been to the movies much at all this year, but I guess there haven't been many movies that have interested me. The year isn't over yet, though!

Defiance was a good one. I can't wait to see Inglourious Basterds though.

I just recently saw "Julie and Julia." It's amazing how much Meryl Streep looked, acted, and sounded exactly like Julia Childs. Ms. Streep is a very good actor!

Definitely Ponyo (I just submitted two quizzes for it, awaiting edit/blessing). Up, Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the Star Trek reboot and Gran Torino weren't bad either. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a huge disappointment, and neither the comedian starring in nor the "humor" contained in Bruno are my cup of tea.

You're right, I forgot to add District 9. Ken
