Regardless if the movie did well or not. A movie with alot of big names in it. I can name quite a few but won't take ideas away from others. "Armageddon" (1998) comes to mind. "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (1963)is reknowned for that. I don't think the combined star power of that cast has been beat yet.

Ocean's Eleven comes to mind: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Elliott Gould...

Since you mentioned Armageddon, Ken, that reminded me of Deep Impact - that one had: Robert Duvall, Morgan Freeman, Téa Leoni, Vanessa Redgrave, Elijah Wood, James Cromwell, Jon Favreau and other maybe not super big but well known actors.

I just thought of another one: The Royal Tenenbaums, with Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Bill Murray, Danny Glover, Ben Stiller, Luke and Owen Wilson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and it is narrated by Alec Baldwin.

Batman Begins - Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, and Gary Oldman.

"Magnolia" is one I think of.

First thing that came to my mind was How The West Was Won -- simply scads of stars. Second, Taesma already mentioned, It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World, too many stars to mention individually. And then there is Hotel (1967 version).

The first film that came to my mind was "Around the World in Eighty Days" (1956), with stars from past and present in all sorts of cameo roles.

I think The Longest Day (1962) can stake a legitimate claim to having the most star-power on one strip of celluloid. Where else can you see Eddie Albert, Paul Anka, Richard Beymer, Richard Burton, Red Buttons, Sean Connery, Richard Dawson, Fabian, Mel Ferrer, Henry Fonda, Steve Forrest, Bernard Fox, Gert Fröbe, Jeffrey Hunter, Curt Jürgens, Peter Lawford, Christian Marquand, Roddy McDowall, Sal Mineo, Robert Mitchum, Kenneth More, Edmond O'Brien, Tommy Sands, George Segal, Rod Steiger, Tom Tryon, Robert Wagner, John Wayne, Stuart Whitman, and Georges Wilson in one movie?
