Oh so many to choose from -

Betty Blue, Juno, Romeo & Juliet, Empire Records, Grosse Pointe Blank, Platoon, The Piano, Donnie Darko, The Madness of King George, Pump Up The Volume....

Way too hard to choose just one!

Basil Poledouris

Everybody has named some great soundtracks and scores to movies. Casino is another movie that has a great soundtrack. Same with Repo Man, as far as punk goes.

However, I really have to second Poledouris.

One of my favorite scores of all time - Conan the Barbarian. Reminds me of Hunt for Red October which makes sense - same composer!

That "Band of Brothers" song is titled "Requiem For a Soldier". The version seen in the opening credits is by Amici Forever. I don't know who penned it, but I did find a very moving version of it on YouTube if you'd like:

Some of mine are already mentioned, but the soundtrack from 'Reservoir Dogs' is pretty cool too.

Trick Or Treat (1986)

Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons star in the movie (Ozzy as a priest!), but the entire soundtrack was done by Fastway.

Also, Daredevil had a great soundtrack with Fuel, Seether, Nickleback, Evanescence, Saliva, and more.

I'm kind of surprised no one has said The Wall yet. I am a big fan of Pink Floyd. Some of my other favorites are the theme song from The Princess Bride (which I will be walking down the aisle to), Twilight, and Wayne's World.

Garden State had the best soundtrack ever. And, as mentioned before, Zach Braff is a genius when it comes to picking songs, because I love the songs on Scrubs, too.
You know what other movie had a great soundtrack? Spider-Man 2. I love that one. It had Lostprophets, Maroon 5, Hoobastank, Jet, Train, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard...

burgurl............thank you so much for leading me to "Band of Brothers" soundtrack. I just finished listening to it and I have to tell you it gave me a huge lump in my throat. To think of all those young men who fought for us and now they're forever 19. Very sad.
