I have tried to laugh at the following but just can't do it. Johnny Carson, Saturday Night Live, the guy who took over from Conan (Yawn). The worst though is BJ in MASH. He could say a funny line and it would always fall flat. No comic timing at all. My sister has a totally different sense of humour to me and can't stand Monty Python or Restaurant at the end of the Universe or Red Dwarf etc. If you criticize these I will send the black knight around to bite ya kneecaps.

Monty Python, Red Dwarf, and Restaurant at the End of the Universe are the kind of things that will confirm to future archaeologists 10,000 years from now that our society had a healthy sense of humor.

And I know they don't really fall under the rubric of "Movies and Television", but I have yet to find any of the current run of web comics that consistently tickle my funny bone. Don't get me wrong because irony and Internet memes have their place, but all irony and memes all the time just doesn't do it for me. Calvin and Hobbes, where are you when we need you?
