Just got home and read about the good news Jane. Trust by now Elliot is well and forgotten the whole ordeal.

I haven't mentioned Elliot's progress for a few months. Just to say, he's coming along nicely, and doing everything a five month old should be doing Again, thanks for all your support xxx

Bumpity! Just a little update that the little boy that had us so worried last September, celebrates his first birthday today! He was seven weeks old when he was diagnosed with Menegitis, and he really was close to dying - if he hadn't gone to the hospital when he did, just one more hour would have made all the difference. We did have another scare with him about four weeks ago, when he picked up a nasty bug and was rushed into hospital - they thought it was menegitis again - but he is fine now! He's doing everything that a one year old should be - maybe more! - managing a step or two unaided, and doing things quicker than William did at his age. Of course he goes for check ups every now and then, but as far as we can see, he's fine. A picture of him will eventually appear! Thank you again for all your good wishes xxx

Thank you for the update, it is good to know that it all ended so well when it could have been so tragic.
