Gorgeous, DotB. Lemme guess - Wales?
Thank you, but it may actually be in England, Llanymynech straddles the border and I am pretty sure the rock is in England and some parts of the village are in Wales.

That was an amazing view Dotb, like being there when you just look at the screen. I didn't know you were from round here Mags, you've gone a long way from there now. Were the double deckers in London or another city? This is the A3 in Claygate, Surrey, showing endless cones with no work in one direction and the markings for the speed cameras on the other. Par for the course really.

Sat, I'm a Brummie by birth, and lived in Bristol and near Manchester also. The double deckers I took to school were in Altrincham... about 20 miles south of Manchester. I lived in England for 15 years before moving to Canada. No double deckers there, or here in Costa Rica for that matter. Edited to add: Is it just me, or is the text now disappearing off the end of the page?

Are you still having to scroll across? I just changed Dot's pic up there to a bit smaller as I think that was causing it? Dot? If you could just save them in facebook a bit smaller that would be great *oops* not facebook .. I meant photobucket!

Re the disappearing text - I thought I may have inadvertently messed my view settings up or something, thanks for the feedback! Mcshellsie, that sunrise is gorgeous! And welcome back too. Lovely kitty, spanishliz, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her . Dotb, good to see the English countryside! You live in a beautiful area.

Such beautiful photos! I especially liked the colorful bugs from last week. I took this last month in my mother's garden in Colorado. I must have had the settings wrong on the camera which is why the color is so strange.

The colour looks good to me. Precious is quite similar to Lucy with rounded ears. Very nice. This is another of my many UK scenes that could pass for America. These free standing signs need planning permission here and very few are allowed so incredibly rare. I knew it was a success when someone said the shots looked American as they had no idea that was exactly my intention. This one is in Hanworth.

Great pic, PaulFIp - really gets across the feel of Piccadilly Circus, with all it's coming and going! Here's a shot of the Arc de Triomphe in the midst of the end-of-the-afternoon-traffic on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago:

There have been some great pics in here lately, with a great variety. Precious is absolutely lovely Liz, and she looks so comfy there too . Just a patriotic seagull, being inquisitive.

I think the colour in your pic is fabulous, CS. The sunflower looks like it's popping off the screen. Love it love it.
