I am collecting the Dr Who partwork and tonight a (male) friend and I were in floods of tears over the 'Family of Blood' episodes. He seemed to think this was unmanly and said "Who else is in tears over Dr Who"? I replied that I was sure plenty of people were, and he challenged "Prove it". Over to you...

I am sometimes, most often at the conclusion of a series.

I'm often in tears of laughter too, but that's due to my twisted sense of humour.

Only when people give their lives up for others or the doctor says something about his past which is really sad- really passionately.
Or, like for example when you see his raw anger- (it might have been in the family of blood!)- i think it was but also in other episodes and sometimes someone has to stop him.

Min, was that the one where he was a schoolteacher? I was in floods when he was seeing what his life might have been like, and at the end with the old soldier. I felt a little daft crying at Dr Who, but found out that some of my team mates had been similarly affected, so didn't feel as bad.
