yes can anyone help its bugging me it was a movie i think in the early 90's futuristic about a guy who i think saves some humanity when his knowledge and everyone lives within a compound securly and gets jailed or framed for something he didnt do i think he discovered something out and somehow he gets out and tries to flee the compound with his wife in the end and it turns out either his wife or him ( not sure) is a robot sent to kill him or the leader of the community. thank you in advance

Sounds similar to "The Island".

That sort of sounds like 12 Monkeys, except that Bruce Willis doesn't really have a wife (though he does have a girl) and he doesn't flee from the compound.

EDIT-> it does sound like The Island to me too, but I was going more by the time frame of the early 90s
