Welcome, MarchHare! You will have a lot of fun, as will the rest of us. Hope you can make it, too, Copago, at whatever time you can get a leave pass. Second round is mine...

Well, with about one month left in the game, I'd like to declare one of the rounds mine. I hope we'll be able to get over the communications barrier (I assume I'll have to use many gestures ).

Just bringing this up again. I will need to make a booking quite soon if we are going to get into Oscar's (or anywhere else, for that matter!).
Could I have a show of hands, so that I can give the venue a tentative figure?
So far we have Exit10, LeoDaVinci, Copago, MarchHare, myself, and perhaps a couple of partners. Anyone else?
The other option is just to meet at one of the city pubs. Any thoughts on this?

Copago, I am not far from Something Hills, and we will be catching a train home (I think). Feel free to join us, and I will push you out the door at the appropriate stop. Or you can stay with Exit- up to you.

LOL!! As good as the offer sounds, Conor will be at my brother's so I better get back there ... I suppose. Well, that'll work out pretty well then if it's okay with you, Ozzz. And the reason I can't remember where he lives is that his postal address is different .. that one I know! I can get there just don't know where it is.

Fine with me.
Just not sure how I am going to fit you into a post office box!

Are there any West Aussies who might like to meet up somewhere in Perth or that general area before Xmas ? I would cheerfully come up to Perth to meet up.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out. The drought has got us pretty bad and it's just getting worse so it's just going to be too hard and not fair on the other half to get away. I'm going to miss catching up with you all but when it rains and things get back on track I'lll be able to do a good trip then, but that still makes me miss out on meeting LeoDV.

Oh bummer, Jill! Hope things brighten up soon, and it would have been good if you had copped some of the rain that Melbourne did a couple of days ago.
We will have a beer for you, girl.

I am around in Melbourne for a while, and hope to be back in Sydney around New Years' time. So, I'm always happy to set up other meetings.

It will NOT be cancelled, but I think booking out Oscar's is not a good idea. City Extra at Circular Quay, followed by a visit to one of the old pubs in the Rocks would be just as much fun. So far we have yourself, LDV, MarchHare, probably Gtho4, me and my better half. Hopefully we can attract a couple of waverers between now and December 18.

So sorry to hear you can't make it Copargo. Hopefully things on the land will have improved greatly after a wet summer. Yes I'm predicting but I don't know that I can control How Much! Best wishes to you and your family and neighbours 'down there'!

I'm looking forward to this get together! Anywhere on the Quay would be good Ozzz - my old stamping grounds. Where are you booked for Exit? It will be fun meeting an Aussie Llama after the Chain Gang / Llama 'wars'! I (may) be booked for Darling Harbour. Depends where my nephew lines me up. May also bring MOH - as driver - or not!

Oh I'm a Very Mellow Pirate Bunny, Exit. I don't even have a pointy stick - unlike Some Bunnies!
