I have had to cancel my telephone call from you as I remembered that I will be spending the whole of Saturday sitting near the door of my local supermarket collecting money for charity. So either I won't be in (in which case my answerphone will be on) or else I will be getting the last bit of sleep before my twelve hour shift.

Having initially signed up for 'the call' I then remembered that I will be spending all day Saturday freezing just inside the open/shut/open/shut/open door of our local supermarket sitting at a table with a couple of yellow buckets hoping that people will be generous and put some money in them.
Ah, I just thought, having cancelled the call we are behind, not in front of them so it would be Friday morning they phone, not Saturday. Duh!
As you were folks, if you want to phone I ought to be about. Oz has my number.

Sorry I have not been here for the last few days- I have been visiting family, but am now back and hanging out for tomorrow night! I have a cap on my mobile- $200 worth of calls for $30 per month. I have never even come close to reaching that amount. I am more worried about the battery running dry. Has anyone got a teeny, weeny set of jumper leads, just in case?

It's raining all right and nowhere near the 38C I went to sleep in (for my Last Sleep! - instead it's 12C! Well it is good party weather. Looks like back to boots and jeans and jacket!
