In the meantime, I do own a digital SLR and while I love the results, it's not exactly what you want to lug around on holiday with, so I confess I don't actually use it as much as I should. He had been sitting there quite a while watching the geese and the beautiful sunset over the mud flats. But sometimes it's best not to know too much so you can create your own iterpretation! Martin: well thanks for the compliment, but I must confess I wasn't slogging through the African wilderness or anything when I took it lol. This hippo was housed at the San Diego Zoo. The accommodations for the larger animals are quite roomy (for a zoo anyway). In this case, there was even see-through glass on one side of the pool so that you could view them underwater. I'm not quite sure why they bothered with that, since, as hippos are voracious eaters, the water ends up MUCH too murky to see much LOL _________________________ Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense - Gertrude Stein
