Has anyone seen him around here? I only asked as his favourite elf has been warming up for the tasks ahead with a dance:

But he ALWAYS comes here. He asks us what we want for Christmas and if we have been good. He tells us about the webcam that tracks his journey on Christmas Eve! Where IS he? (stamps foot)

Dear Santa,

Bring me a badge with the treasure on it please!

I promise I've been good and I'll unwrap it with Glee!

I'll leave you extra cookies if you'll grant me this wish.

I'll even clean the tank so you can see my goldfish!

Love,
Weeeps

I think Sue makes a swell elf! I think she is hiding him along with the rest of the elves, cracking the whip, directing all the toy making. (I wouldn't tell you he already visited my house with an early present!)

LOL wayman! and yup Sue makes a great elf! That's why I added my Santa letter here so Sue the elf could help push my letter to the top of the pile. hehe

Last night, just before I fell asleep, I realised that it was only 2 weeks to Christmas and there was NO sign of Santa on FT and today I sign on and find this thread...

Weeps I like your request. May we all add ours or do we have to wait for Santa to arrive?

I think the Head Elf, when she wakes up , would allow that, Lady. Apart from World Peace, I would like some more salary........Ooops sorry Santa, I have been good and I would like just one portion of real fish and chips and a real pasty and a real meringue with Cornish cream.

I heard that Santa received some government bailout money, then shared it with his elves who haven't been seen since. Also, Santa was found passed out in front of his sleigh a little over a week ago after hitting a fire hydrant. He hasn't been seen since either.

I wonder if Santa knows anyone at the IRS. I don't need a Government bailout but a reduction in our pension taxes would be a great help.

LOL Nightmare.

True lady1, and I think he should post more than just at Christmas time. After all, here we have "Summer Santa." He could at least make an appearance for the kiddies.

I'm sure he would like everyone around the world to know about the summer job .

I am still recovering from my busy period. Me appear in July? In your dreams, Christmas in July is just a marketing ploy and nothing to do with me.

July is my relaxing time of year.

I'd like to thank you Santa for bringing everything (almost!) I asked for. You have surely been generous and gracious. I know all those children you (secretly) help in July are truly grateful, too. We know, you really need something to do in the summertime, and the children don't recognize you with swimming trunks!

Christmas in July is actually sort of a charity ploy. it's been in the USA used more for charity drives than for retail! but that may just be in my neck of the woods ,when the military and Salvation Army and Red Cross use it to raise funds for children in need and blood drives and stuff. But I did hear that below the equator it's the coldest time of the year so the Christmas snow things apply then!

and yes Thank You Santa for delivering some of the things I didn't mention but loved receiving, I'll ask again next year for the treasure! I did notice you gave me new clues I hadn't seen before so you came through for me! so maybe I will find it before next year, since half the fun is in finding it!

edit: for then vs. than
