Loved it. It sounded a lot like one of the guys from "Flight of the Conchords" to me... Do you think they did the vocals? I couldn't see any voice credits.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Since I love to design things, I've been trying to learn different ways to create things.
Here is a Christmas card created for everyone here, I hope it shows up.

Thank you Amy. We don't normally permit images anywhere other than the photo forum threads, but as it is Christmas I think we can let it slide just in this thread for the next day or two.

Yes, let me add my Christmas greetings to everyone, too ! I hope the season (and New Year, too) is rich in bounty and productivity and peace and enlightenment, for all of you.

I'll also add this in conjunction with those well wishes. Good heavens, it's a lovely song, and all that, I reckon --- but what a heartbreaker, though . But the message it delivers is a nice Christmas-y *thing*, I think (even though it nearly made this particular listener cry like a girl as it went ) ...

Merry Christmas to everyone! I'm all decorated, wrapped, and ready to go. And, we are getting about 2 inces of snow right now! Yay! Even the streets have snow sticking to them now. Welcome to the Dallas/Fort Worth area! However, CNN referred to Fort Worth as the neighbor of El Paso (which is only about 400 miles away!)

"Snow in Texas, whatever next? "

I guess ya never know where it will hit next! However, it is very common in west Texas for them to get 8 inches or more. The panhandle is higher in altitude. But here, it's a treat. At least it is for me, this ex-Yankee here!

When we moved here in 1990, we were told it NEVER snows here. Yet, on that very first Christmas in 1990, we had a covering on Christmas day. They normally get ice storms here. Ick..

Only an hour to go until Christmas is over for 2009. I have eaten WAY too much, drunk a couple more beers than I should have, and am now going to sleep for 12 hours.

Merry Christmas all, and see you tomorrow!

Oh, and it did not snow here- a rainy 29C was quite nice.

Hello Ozzz, Glad you had a nice day - bit the same up the road here. Lovely day, lunch at the beach, I think I've been eating or drinking about every 2 hours!
Soft rain falling and it's 18C - Lovely end to a beautiful day.

Merry Christmas to the Rest of the World. May your day be merry and bright and all of your snowfalls be light!

I'd just like to add one of My favourites.

I'll play the Scrooge I guess. It is *never* common for North Central Texas, waaay far east of the panhandle, and even some Dallas areas received up to 8". Many cities, highways, almost all churches and businesses were/are shut down. How can one not have a Christmas Day Service? City snow plows and even emergency vehicles could not get out in it. The airport was closed, and people abandoned their cars on the highways, and even four-wheel drive vehicles. I feel sorry for those still stranded in their cars for over 20 hours so far, and many of those have run out of gas. We walked three blocks to the highway and took in two families last night so they could stay safe, warm, had a Mexican dinner and breakfast.
Our city broke records that occurred over 35 years ago, and nobody was geared up for it. An only 20% chance of light snow mix turned into an absolute mess.
Now that the initial is past, and with slight thawing today, the roads are going to create black ice with a low tonight only in the teens w/winds. Most roads will be extremely dangerous at best. The initial fun of having the thought of our first White Christmas was not worth it by what so many others have lost.

And now that our 'guests' have left, we opened our presents and counted our blessings.

Thanks Sue, but that wasn't the point. Too many had their Christmas messed up, in addition to all the other issues of life going around for everyone.

The travel in and to/from the UK has been disrupted too, a nightmare (no pun intended) for many.
