Not sure if I can post this here, so if I'm breaking the rules feel free to delete my post.

My daughter recevied an iPod Nano this morning, and my husband and I have spent the whole day trying to get the software to work. We downloaded the software from the apple iTunes site, but when we try to run it an error message appears 'The folder 'iTunes' cannot be found or created. The default location for this folder is inside the 'Music' folder'.

Has anybody else encountered this problem, and if so how on earth can I overcome it? I am so frustrated at this stage, and severely hating the four inch square piece of shiny blue machinery sitting silently on my desk

I know nothing about Nanos but this might help:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1866

If you don't have XP you might try pasting that error message into Google and see what other help pages you find.

Hope you sort it out before you tear out all your hair!
