White yard! I thought I'd join the snow theme. We've had over 2 feet of snow in the last 3 weeks. That is unusual for us. My poor little terrier has a path to a tree and a bush back here. Even with that it is a struggle for him to get out and back. Needless to say he doesn't spend a lot of time outdoors right now.

Wow, telly, that is a gorgeous shot! Broken Iron Railing I see a real beauty in rust, as time eats away at metal, transforming it slowly but surely into nothingness.

Yes, that is a beautiful picture of the tree, Telly! It reminds me of the White Tree of Gondor from The Lord of the Rings And great picture, Mags! The shot goes very well with your very poetic comment

Clay Tile Roofs ~ Granada, Nicaragua I was quite pleased to be asked permission to have this posted as the photo of the day on Christmas Day on a Granadian tourist information website.

Great snow pictures everyone, absolutely gorgeous, but I have to say I am so glad we don't get snow where I live. Yesterday we went shopping for airconditioning. One of the businesses we visited was (Jeff) Mouritz's Gas and Air - so-called because they mainly sell airconditioning and gas heating. Their showroom is located at the rear of a block of shops, hence the sign below. I know, it's my dirty mind, but I couldn't help giggling about the sign!
