This weeks theme is "Rust" (well I made one person happy at least) You can stretch the title a bit , maybe to include "Rotted" or "Erosion".

This plaque on a wall of a lighthouse in Plymouth is a little corroded. You can still make out that you are not supposed to deface the tower though.

I had fun today walking around the neighbourhood looking for rusty things to photograph In the end I settled for something spotted from my window, and in my own backyard - this line of rust along the roof of my garden shed.

Imagination needed! It is quite pleasant here in Summer - a bottle of wine, a couple of glasses, glorious sunset......

Since the theme is rusty old things, I did debate for awhile about posting a picture of myself, but decided on this one instead...

Spanish, I thought most drainpipes these days were plastic! Lily, I can imagine that a walk along the water is lovely in the summer. Jake, you joker, you!
This is a boiler that was taken out when my mother in law was having central heating put in. It's only slightly rusty, but there is definitely rust there.

Oh dear, I have albums full of rust, and rot, and rusty rot! How to choose just one image, aaaaargh!

While I'm dithering, you could take a ferry somewhere. Although maybe not this one...

This old motorcycle was all I could come up with.

One I took a couple of weeks ago that it perfect for this theme

I spotted this car in Berlin. There's a bit of rust on the back wheel arch but that was the least of its problems.


(Now I just have to hope that the graffiti doesn't translate into anything ofensive...)
