I recently received an (accurate) correction notice on a crossword which noted that a "14" in one of the clues should read "16".

The version of the crossword online and that accessed through the "See how it will look" in the Crossword builder both have "14" there, but when I went to edit the crossword in the Crossword Editor the clue in question already read "16".

I've tried retyping the clue, as well as uploading the corrected crossword both through the Crossword Builder page (using the arrow marked "Click here to save changes ...") and the "Click here to save crossword" button on the Crossword Editor page. However, the changes don't seem to be reflected in the online crossword. Is this something I just need to wait for the database to update on, or is there something else I should be doing?

(As a separate note...I originally tried writing this message as a private message to the editor who previously worked on my crossword, but got an error message saying "that is an invalid message" when trying to submit the PM. Was this just because I was too wordy?)

Since you only have two online, I took a guess..

It should be correct now. You need to go in and complete the CN to show it has been fixed.

Clue #17 down in "As the Answer Turns" (the clue in question) still reads "14 across, continued" when I go to play it online.

Refresh your page. It shows correct on my screen.

If necessary, clear your cache, then click the refresh button or cntrl-F5.
